If you use CRM for Outlook, you cannot show the chart pane for activity views. Activity views can have charts in the web client, they just don't show up in Outlook. The only chart button in the ribbon that is available is the import chart button

we have no plans to do any further updates to CRM for Outlook. Thanks for your feedback
