Performance of the Environment monitoring Overview tab needs to be improved. It takes way to much time to get the overview for only 30 minutes of data. And that when it doesn't just time-out.

2 new things that would help :
- Having a live view of that graph to be able to monitor it continuously. Like putting it on a dedicated monitor in the office. That way we would react faster instead of waiting for a user to call saying performance are going down.
- Having long term monitoring data available to extract. Ex : Download 1 month worth of monitoring data, plot it in Excel to use as a performance indicator or analyse trend or patterns in performance.

AOS servers crash and we don't get any message.

I would settle for just being able to download a month's worth of monitoring data in a CSV file, if it will help to make this feature available quicker.

Voted for this idea.

We previously implemented our own LCS scraping tool that feed the results into a database which worked Ok for around a month. However, because of expected updates to LCS and page elements, random exceptions while logged in that triggered a session log out, connection time outs, and significant inconsistencies with the data we abandoned this method of data collection.

Due to this lack of information we have very restricted visibility of issues, causing an enormous, and ongoing, drain on time and resources internally, constantly putting us on the back foot. Being unable to provide any historical information to others within the business - at all levels of seniority - on matters relating to performance is, unfortunately, an embarrassing oversight for this solution.

A similar idea "allowing monitoring data retrieval from LCS to SCOM/Application Insights" was posted on 19/07/2018. MS replied on 6/6/2019 to say that it's considered for the road map, and is marked as "Planned". From the 2019 Release Wave 2 Plan (October 2019 to March 2020) there is no mention of LCS performance data access.

I enquired on 10/04/2019 about the D365 Finance and Operation Tools and the APIs for LCS (https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=Dyn365FinOps.dynamics365-finops-tools&ssr=false#qna). The response from MS is that APIs exist, yet are not officially documented, nor supported.

Could MS please reveal details on what's going on with the availability of this data, as per Steeve Gilbert's initial idea? It's clear that the community have been scratching its collective heads on obtaining this data, and there are plenty of similar questions on github especially to further support the genuine need for this data.

Embedding to PowerBI would maybe make it even more attractive? Or link to SQL table (or other DB type) for proper long term monitoring and analysis.
