In order for users to be to be able to easily identify the screen they are in and the path to get there retain the ability to enable the legacy navigation bar for all future upgrades. I understand that Microsoft are working to align their Office headers to be cohesive across the product range but removing the breadcrumb in D365 will totally confuse users and make it more difficult for them to know what screen they are in and to describe the path they took to get there when they have issues.

Deactivating this idea as it's a duplicate of the "Bring back the breadcrumb menu" Idea.

This is a very useful feature for both users and admins. You can still revert back through the Client performance options page (System administration > Setup > Client performance options > Enable legacy navigation bar) but even this option will be deprecated in April 2020. Please do not fully deprecate!

Hopefully we will get a positive answer about this really important User Experience requirement.

Prio 1: breadcrumb availability, Prio 2: breadcrumb clickability

Thumbs up for this.

This is an business-grade ERP system, not Facebook.

People need to know the navigation system in place and where they are in that system with click-able links to go back up a level or back through that navigation.
