I have found that it is possible to wrongly designate consumption (or negative consumption/positive item adjustment) on a completely unrelated production order whose item is not related to the consumption item being posted in any way.

For example you could have a Released Prod Order X for Item A with Production BOM item components B, C and D and then post a consumption journal for item E onto Released Prod Order X incorrectly.

This would lead to stock confusion at best, audits at worst as the origin of stock is unclear.

Could there be a button to stop this within the manufacturing setup and/or the released production order please?
