It would be more useful, if session timeout period can be manageable by either of end user(Admin) or partner. Currently we can not increase session timeout period by ourselves.

Thank you for your feedback. We released an update to our session timeout model as part of the functionality in 2019 release wave 2 and can see that the number of votes for this ideas has slowed down, as well as feedback from other customer and partner channels. We will therefore consider this idea completed.

Is this also available in the on-premise version of business central?

Definitely would be good to allow per tenant setting.

This is really a problem. Import information and notification coming from your code, to inform the end user, is gone, when the session, due to session timeout, are re-freshen by the user. That’s goes for any filters to, that the user have setup for the page they are working from, prior to the session timeout;-(

This is really a sorely missed setting - has been discussed on Yammer, and frankly should just be made configurable per tenant ASAP:)
