It would be useful to set a date so only transactions from that date onwards as transferred when copying a production environment to create a Sandbox. Come clients can have large databases and copying the whole thing can not only take time but also use up storage space unnecessarily, especially for development and testing where only a small amount of data is required. Often problems are only related to recent transactions so copying everything is unnecessary for problem solving in a sandbox as well.

By having the ability to create a sandbox with only limited transactional data from a specified date would reduce the space required for the sandbox and speed up sandbox creation.
