It would be great to have the possibility to be able to use a query object as a SourceTable for a page and a DataItem for a report directly.

Currently you have to program this. Having the possibility to be able to simply select the query object in the Sourcetable/DataItem would be a great improvement.

And even if it's only as Read-Only that would also work.

Queries are faster then records, even if the data is not cached.

This would give us the possibility to improve performance of certain pages/reports. And also to reuse these queries in different pages/reports. And also, because queries can join and aggregate date from multiple tables, that would also be a great advantage to have in pages/reports.

That was one of the first remarks i made when i entered the world of Business Dynamics.
I was used to make screens and reports in MS Access, the majority was based on querys and not direct on tables.
I believe this should be a normal facility is a so called relatinal database and therefore was suprised (dissappointed) that BC does not support this.
