Business Central needs basic CRM to efficiently manage sales leads, opportunities, communication and tasks.

Dynamics 365 Sales is good option but its useless until its not seamlessly connected to BC. You cant make quotations without having all tax setting, posting groups, vat rates, special prices - these quotes will make no sense and will end up generating loss at the end (if quote gets out with wrong tax rate for example).

Quotation what is one of key documents in Sales is not an estimate as it has been for decades. Sales quote per todays law is basically a contract. Once quote is sent and accepted by customer - you must sell these items on offered terms. Speaking of government customers - there is no legal way to change even pricing after quote deadline has passed (EU procurement laws) - so quote is very much biding contract in most scenarios.

Existing CRM is there with some functionality but this is not efficient or user friendly. To use it you need to hire more people to actually manage your opportunities. Tasks hidden, changing opportunity stage would require user manual.

CRM cant be something what you use use to box ticked. It must help to save time and improve efficiency. Unnecessary clicks and workarounds are opposite to what its intended use is.
