When adding links to documents such as Sales Orders then Links are copied to the posted document. This is not the case when adding links to a line in a General Journal. It is possible to attach to the Journal but when posting then the Link is not posted to the posted entries. We suggest that they get copied to the entries be they G/L Entries, Detailed Vendor Entries, Detailed Customer Entries etc.

The use scenario is that transaction lines are imported from a 3rd party system and we want to generate a link to data in this 3rd party system. This information we entered into Links, but when posting the data disapears because it is not copied to the posted entries. In this case it was expected to be accessible on the G/L entries and the Detailed Vendor Entries.
