For retailers who have stores in multiple countries it can be neccesary to have your loyalty programm work across the different company accounts so the customer can earn his loyalty points in every store in every country. When the franchise scenario's is used this is the same

Loyalty programs already work across legal entities so retailers can allow their customers to earn loyalty points in one company and redeem in another company.
