The company hub app allows a user to see "My User Tasks" across all companies they have access to. That same format should be applied to approvals too. In the case of BC approval workflows this is a nicer experience as you get emails but need to login to each company to complete the approval actions. Logging in once and seeing all approvals would be a quicker way to close off a much hated user task.
