Currently, it is not possible to add new tiles (emails, planners, etc.) to a customer journey that has the status reason "live, editable". However, when working with a nurture stream, it is a must have to be able to add new tiles while the customer journey is still running. Something that is common practice is marketing automation tools such as Marketo.

Now I have to create new Journey.
Make a new but same segment and add behavior to exclude old journey contacts.

I have also worked with several other marketing solutions where i am able to change the customer journey or campaign even when it is published. Not only the content of components, but add or remove tiles to adjust the customer journey. This usecase come into need when a CJ is not performing the way you want because of the structure of it and you would like to adjust it to perform better. This is a need to have functionality for Marketeers.
