It is not possible for the users select a joined table for sorting in edit query option of wave templates form. For range it is possible to create entry of joined table and enter a value. But for sorting it is not possible.

Repro steps:
1. select any wave template , for example
Production orders > Use edit query option
2. Join a table
3. Try to enter field of joined table to sorting
the same selection will be available for the range but not working for sorting.
