- Storage classified as Blocked (Cartons) and Unit (individual)



- Blocked Storage - 1) 3-5 Cartons stored in a single location. Each carton is referred by a unique reference called license plate. The location can have a single SKU in each of the 3-5 cartons or 1 SKU per carton or Mixed SKU in each of the carton. System to have the data of all license plate in that location.



                               2) 16-24 Cartons stored in pallets. Each carton is referred by a unique reference called license plate.The location can have a single SKU in each of the 3-5 cartons or 1 SKU per carton or Mixed SKU in each of the carton.System to have the data of all license plate in that location.



Constraints for business case

- Pick list has only bin reference and without license plate

- Visibility of license plate is a challenge for operator to pick desired merchandise

- License plate information mandatory

- Storage to be configured with Location as the top most hierarchy and license plates within that as additional hierarchy

- Scan of Wave to indicate location, scan of location to indicate license plate, scan of license plate to indicate the SKU to be picked



The above logic will help information of pallet and will result

- Visibility of information

- Space management efficiency

- Better speed of operations
