Self billing is more and more used in countries by companies to invoice themselves for vendor deliveries / services. As this is a function, coded in D365 for Malaysia I suggest to "release" this for all countries (general function).
From my point of view the necessary documents can be modified by Electronic reporting, so that there is just the functionality as such to be released in Accounts Payable.

This feature will really help finance department to keep pace with comapnies revenue targets, leverage companies brand value, and become a one-stop-shop for all consumer needs.
As more companies embrace the marketplace model, where we see a significantly high volume, the key to success will be how quickly you can onboard a new vendor and complete the procure-to-pay cycle.
Currently D365 F&O doesn't support self-billing (vendor invoicing) as an option to speed up the process, similar to Amazon's self-billing model.
