When entering a new purchase requisition line and adding a procurement category, current functionality allows the user to begin typing the procurement category, and the first line with those letters will become highlighted and bolded. However, if the procurement catalogue is longer than what is viewable in the screen drop down, the user must still use their mouse to scroll down to see the line that has become highlighted, and also use their mouse to select "OK". Suggestion is to actually filter the list based on what has been typed, for example, if "Pens" is typed in, only procurement categories containing "Pens" would then appear in the drop down. If this were the only category containing "Pens", user could then hit enter and Pens would be filled into the procurement category field on the line and the user could then tab to the next field (so there wouldn't be need for scrolling and clicking with the mouse)

This has been a request at multiple customers already. Please consider this, it would improve the user-friendliness a lot!

Agreed! Likewise the dropdown on a purchase order line could be improved seriously in terms of user-friendliness.
