Currently, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central does not retain the field or cell focus when a user navigates away from a page and returns. Although it remembers the selected record on list pages, it resets the cursor/focus to the default field, requiring users to manually find where they left off.

This feature request is to preserve the last focused field or cell within a page/session to streamline workflows—especially for users doing high-volume data entry or working with complex documents.
