In the POS you can enter line or transaction comments (operation 103, 122 and 501). They show nicely on the receipt, but once the order is in D365, it's hard to find them (You need table browser).
It would be good to have then visible on the sales order, either directly in a field or via document handling.

yes, and also the other way around: display notes from document handling on the POS (similar to how they are shown in the Notes box in the Customer service form). Scenario: sales order is created on callcenter or webshop or other 3rd party integrated app, customer comes into a store to pickup / pay / inquire on the order; store employee should see all relevant sales order data including the notes on the POS.
