In Integration Manager when importing transactions, the posting date field is apparently tied to the transaction posting date, not the batch posting date. Since many companies post by batch date to the GL, it only makes sense that the posting date in IM be the Batch posting date. That way of they do post by transaction, they can leave it set to default, otherwise they can enter the batch date here. I have run into issues where the integration is throwing warnings because the period is actually closed because the posting date is defaulting the current date and they have already closed out the previous period.

Thank you for your suggestion but we do not plan to make further investments in IM. There are other tools available for importing and would suggest using one of those if this doesn't meet your needs.
