When creating a new salesorder and adding a project ID to it, the sales order is not created as a Callcenter order.
There are customers which their entire sales setup is based on sales orders with project id's and based on Callcenter functionality. A creation and posting of project sales orders is a crucial feature to be considered for implementation.
At the moment the feature/scenario is not on the Microsoft Roadmap and the only plausible approach for the customer is to go for a customization/extension.
Having that feature enabled in AX will greatly improve the way customers are creating their sales order in the CallCenter.

Thank you for your idea. At this time we do not have any funded investment to have the Commerce order management process support SCM's Project orders capabilities. We will continue to monitor this area to understand the number of customers who use or need to use this capability. While the Commerce application sits inside of the larger ERP footprint, Commerce/Call Center does not support every capability that would be supported by standard Supply Chain order management.
