Currently, once a Purchase Requisition is submitted to workflow and moves to Under review, it becomes fully read-only. Any required change (such as correcting a procurement category, quantity, accounting, or other non-approval-impacting fields) forces users to cancel or reject the workflow and revert the requisition back to Draft.

This behavior causes unnecessary workflow interruptions, additional approvals, and operational delays—especially when changes are minor or purely informational.

Proposed improvement:

Allow controlled / limited editing of specific fields on a Purchase Requisition while it is Under review, for example:

• Procurement category
• Financial dimensions
• Dates or descriptive fields

Alternatively, provide a standard option such as “Request change” that temporarily unlocks editable fields without fully resetting the workflow to Draft.
