I have been trying to trace what picks happened against a sales order and this is proving very difficult lest I manually go through all of the registered picks until I remotely find something that resembles when the other warehouse documents happened around that date.
As a result, very similar to the "Find Entries" option, I want a "Find Documents" button that shows you all of the related documents behind something.
Let's say I go into a sales order with 2 lines and the location requires full advanced warehousing for purchasing and sales. I want to press "Find Documents" and see:
- That one of the lines came from a production order and the finished production order document number
- That another one of the items came from a purchase order and its document number
- The warehouse receipt of this second line happened and it's number
- The registered put-away for that second line
- That there were 2 posted sales shipments and their numbers. 1 document for each line.
- That only one of the lines has been invoiced and it's number
- That there were was an initial prepayment invoice but there is a prepayment credit memo as well which cancels it off.
- That the 2 posted sales shipments came from warehouse shipments and their numbers
- That picks were registered due to the location and their numbers for those warehouse shipments
It would be good to have a central page which had all of this traceability as darting around from page to page is quite time consuming and with the registered pick to warehouse shipment in particular, doesn't seem to have good traceability at all which makes life more difficult than it needs to be.
