Getting relevant data quickly is often time consuming and drags company into inefficiency.
It would be useful when from account card you have sections for quotes and orders history and its possible to see quote-order history without additional effort and clicks.

Also necessary is to have quote revisions as if when quote is changed and resent to customer - it must have revision number. There is legal and financial reason for that also. Quote is basically "sales contract by law" and if you send customer 2 quotes with different pricing in it but quote ID is same then how you solve situation when there will be dispute - seller refers to quote what has higher price, customer to lower cost quote. No revision numbers and different quotes with same number can end up with massive financial losses in certain situations.

So its impossible to identify what customer actually approved if there are multiple quotes with same number.
Besides quotes should have different stages like "draft, sent, cancelled, rejected (+rejected reason) and accepted (reference to order no).
