In the current design, the Finalize purchase orders process can be scheduled as a recurring batch job; however, its Accounting date parameter is static. As a result, each batch execution finalizes purchase orders using the same accounting date unless this parameter is manually updated.

Design change request: Enhance the parameter behavior to allow users to define the accounting date dynamically—for example, automatically defaulting to the last day of each month.
