In a scenario where you have a Financial Report Column definition which uses the Column Type option of "Year to Date" and you have Statistical Accounts in you Row Definition, the Statistical Account information is not filtered using the Accounting Periods financial year setup like the GL Accounts are. I understand that statistical account information is not GL information and not bound accounting periods in the same way as the GL. However, if your using statistical account information to create KPI's within your financial reports, then you would need the "Year to Date" option to filter the Statistical Account entries by the same set of accounting periods as it is applying to the GL Accounts, otherwise your figures are skewed.

The same would now apply to the new "Month to Date" option.
