Currently, Requisition Worksheet can be run to generate the demand from Jobs. For example, I need 2 Rims for Job A and currently have 0 Rims. I run Requisition Worksheet and it shows a suggestion to purchase 2 Rims. I select the "Carry Out Action Message" choice and it creates a PO. Great. The only problem is that my PO does not show the Job-related details. For example, it does not show Job #, Task or Job Planning Line.
Solution: Make Job-related information (Job #, Task and Job Planning Line) to be preserved on the Requisition Worksheet and then make this be carried over to the PO created from this Requisition Worksheet Line.

Allowing the creation of POs from job planning lines would resolve multiple issues. This one but also that the PO and Job are not visible to one another until the point that the purchase invoice is raised when items are received. The purchase order is a commitment to purchase and should be directly reflected as such in the job. By creating it as a planning line directly it both saves time and removes this issue which has the potential to misrepresent the position of the job.

I have the same situation but also with a dimension problem:
If we indicate a dimension on the project planning lines and we want to filter or sort it by dimensions in the planning worksheet, no dimension is following in the planning worksheet from the job. If we indicate that a dimension is mandatory for the item to purchase, we cannot create it with the action carry out message until we indicate a dimension in the planning worksheet, that is already in the job header or job planning lines. Also, the dimension to prioritize in the Job, would be in job planning lines first if different of the header. This is not following in purchase order created from a planning worksheet and this is not something I can recommand for the moment.

Would be very useful:
- Going through requisition worksheets is necessary when inventory quantity is tracked as well
- For non-inventory items, it should be possible to create the PO directly from the Job Planning Lines. To meet other requirements Job Planning Lines would then need to be enhanced to enter the Vendor ID.

If Item's Reordering Policy = Order, then a reservation is made automatically between Purchase Order Line, and Job Planning Line, when the Requisition Worksheet is used. Obviously the information is found from the reservation, and it is on the line level, not on the Purchase Order header.
Purchase Order line does include Job No., Job Task No. and other Job -related fields, though in that case reservations cannot be used.
If the Purchase Order should have Job information on the header, in that case the specific Purchase Order could be used for a certain Job. That is, with same Purchase Order, other purchases cannot be done, as they could be for another Job, etc.
And on the Requisition Worksheet, job related information is found under Order Tracking (= source of the demand for the created supply).
If the replenishment system is order, then I would like to see above mentioned information on the Requisition Line level directly. If other replenishment systems are used, then the requirement is quite difficult to execute. As possible 10 pieces supply proposal may consists of 1..N demands.
