I suggest to Microsoft please send us a notice when maintain Azure SQL Database is planned as same as D3FO,

OR, doing maintenance of Azure SQL Database in same time schedule as D3FO planned maintenance.

[Background]

We receipt a mail named 'Planned system maintenance for Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations; no action required' when DSE team applying windows update to D3FO AOS/BI server, but when maintain Azure SQL Database, we have no notice from any team.

If maintenance was start between batch job running, AOS and Database connections are disconnect and batch job status is not change from '5-Running'. (FYI, Batch job status will be change to '9-Scheduled' if you use platform update 9 or later, but it will not run no matter how long you wait...)

When rebooting OS of Azure SQL Database, 'Error 40613 Reconfiguration' will occur. Then AOS cannot connect to Azure SQL Database.

Therefore, we cannot running stably customers core system because AOS-DB connections is not stabled.
