We had an issue with Ledger Accruals getting posted on wrong dates even when the periods are put on hold and also created a work item reference #653535( provided in detail information under work item) but this is closed as by design. Sharing the work item link 653535 - Search Work item - Home (visualstudio.com) please go through it and expecting solution in near future.
