For industries, wherein the volume of purchase orders is high with shorter delivery times, the businesses adopt a methodology to short close the purchase orders at a certain date & not keep it open for long.

This requirement is specifically observed in retail industries e.g., pharmaceutical companies with more than 100 stores.

If a parameter can be provided to automatically close the open lines of a purchase order at a specific interval, that would make the life of a buyer easy to track & check the open purchase orders.

I would request the development team at Microsoft to acknowledge this idea & proceed for development.
