In CRM 2011, if you go to the Activities node in the Workplace, there is a "My Open Activities" view. If you click the dropdown on the menu, you get a submenu that shows you every type of activity in the CRM. There is no way to filter the list of items on this submenu.

We normally ensure users have no access (all empty red circles in their security roles) for things like 'Service Activity' so that they never see it in CRM and become confused by features that we don't want them to see.

But this view, and the inline filters on the same screen's list grid, show all kinds of options that the user has no business seeing based on their security role.

Please respect the CRM security when displaying these menus and filter options.
