It could happen that the customer is not eligible for a full refund when returning an item (for example, if the product is used).

Standard D365 offers the possibility to trigger a discount on the POS with Info Codes: unfortunately this is not applied for returns.

Besides, the only way to apply a discount to a return (so, a reduction to the refundable amount) is to use the POS operation "Return Product", which has no reference to the original Sales Order.

The idea is to trigger the discounts based on Info Codes for returns and expecially for the POS operation "Return Transaction", which allows to link the return to the original Sales Order.
