I found an issue with the behaviour of the unlimited credit flag when used with customer change approval workflow, documented on Details for issue 794754 (dynamics.com) - It basically ignores the change and allows it to be saved.

As per the issue log, this is not being changed at the moment, but since it gives the user the ability to set an unlimited credit limit on the customer account this should be amended to be included in the customer approval workflow
