Our customers often have hundreds of thousands of items, which their customers could purchase. The item records are maintained automatically via vendor catalogue data which is provided as files.

Importing this data via xml ports or odata takes hours and induces heavy load onto BC. Hence, on premises we currently import this data via direct sql, which takes only seconds.

This missing feature prevents our customers from moving to the cloud, because this vendor data is crucial for them.
