Transactions appear in reverse sort when exported to Excel

General ledger>Chart of accounts>Accounts>Main accounts> Transactions.


The way in which Transactions are visible, when exported to excel, they appear in inverted sort. Newest to oldest in Dynamics appears Oldest to newest in Excel. We would like to see the data in Excel exactly like the way it is visible in D365.

Reverse cursors that are "Show Last First" on some transaction forms will cause the records to be listed in Excel in the opposite direction to the way they are shown in the form.

Agree with that.


Imagine that you are exporting only one page from Voucher transactions - in D365 records are sorted from oldest to newest but when you export them to excel, they are sorted from newest to oldest... Strange...

If you are accountant, you will be happy to see both sorted the same way.
