As per MS document, Multi-level detours and auto submit detours features are default turned on. As the features are turned on, user should be able to directly add detour steps on Mobile device steps. However, with current design, user has to first "configure default setup" on Mobile device journal names form and add the detour. It is an additional step and time consuming.

Thank you for your feedback understood as Microsoft should ship default mobile device menu item setup including configured detours for all processes. Currently this is not in our roadmap; however, we are tracking it and if we get more feedback and votes, we may consider it in the future.
