Hi @Microosft team,

There is issue with "Available Physical" quantity shown with in "Size and Color Grid" in Sales order lines. It doesn't inherit the inventory dimensions (i.e. SITE/WAREHOUSE) from the sales order line and shows "Available quantity" for all warehouse which is incorrect.

Repro steps:

  1. Post Physical Inventory Adjustment (Using Invt. Movement/Counting journal or Purchase Packing slip) in more than one Warehouses (say WH001 Qty=500, WH002 Qty=500) for Product Master having "Color/Size" (Color=NA, Size=NA) and Batch (D999) tracking dimensions.
  2. Next, click On-hand list form under inventory management and you would see Physical Available quantity in the warehouse(s).
  3. Next, create a Sales order for warehouse "WH001". Add line by selecting Item, Color, Size for which you post the Physical quantity adjustment in step#1. You would observe that in Size/Color Grid in order line system is showing "Available Physical =1000' which is total quantity of all warehouse for the Color & size (NA ,NA) and ignore the storage inventory dimension (WH001) selected in order line.

The expected application behavior for the Color/Size grid in Sales order line should be that it should consider the SITE/WAREHOUSE dimension while showing On-hand quantity.

It would be better that Microsoft team consider the above and change the application design accordigly, thank you

Thanks for this input. Reading your repro steps, it is not completely clear where in which form yopu are looking for the physical available inventory quantity in the last step. However, as we cannot determine if what you point to is related to a product issue or design limitation, you should log a case through the support channels to have assessed.
