However for the Filters we set, we are not able to Save the filter.
Every time must repeat the filters when revisiting the List e.g. Sales Order List

This functionality has existed for ages. The Idea is obsolete and should be closed.

On https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/business-applications-release-notes/april19/dynamics365-business-central/list-views, it is clearly stated that:
Saving and personalizing list views: Available in a minor update after April '19, users will be able to save their list filters and similar personalizations to create different ways of slicing their data.
