On a PTE installment with a dependency to a newer version of an AppSource application, the Appsource application will automatically updated without any information or request to the end user. At least it should act the same way as the request is, if an Appsource application has any dependency to another Appsource application. Otherwise the PTE has a stronger permission as the Appsource layer has.

We just recently had a case where the installation of a relatively small PTE update led to an essential app of our system being updated unintentionally. We were shocked by the behaviour of the system and hope that this will be changed soon.
