In SaaS solution - user card has two fields "Contact email" and "Authentication email". Seems like once sync users are made these fields are taken from Entra user principal name and will always be same.
Our customer (approx 300-500 full users soon) has ~20 different companys in BC, and each company has its own domain and under email accounts, smtp account with current user setup has been added.
But, since they are using AX right now, all users who log in to AX use one certain domain and also to BC.
That contact email field is the one, which allows users to send out emails from that certain domain which is related with company.
1) is it possible to change the contact email field in Entra - so it will take it from Entra user card under contact - email?
2) make a setting or small button which can be disabled and contact email's will not be updated automatically each time.
If someone accidentally presses update users and all 300 contact email fields from user cards will be overwritten by default values, it's half day of work to get these back.
in On-prem these can be different, so i don't understand why it's not possible to keep these serepate in SaaS.
