The website's rendering of the charts (by default) allows too much padding around the chart control and the data itself.

I utilize the chart XML's own IsMarginVisible parameter sometimes, but this only affects the chart itself, not the space reserved around it for titles and the chart controls etc.

In my crude examples attached I've highlighted the approximate real space available to the actual data displayed.

The yellow is reserved for the Chart Name and View Name, the Chart Controls (refresh, view records that make this chart, expand).

In my opinion this is way too much "padding" before we even allow ourselves to display the real reason we came here.... the data! You could almost say the reserved space is about 40-50%.

Keen to hear anyone else's thoughts on this too.
