If I am buying inventory or using item journals, I should be able to calculate the unit cost by typing in the units and the total, to prevent the rounding errors I am getting.

Sometimes, when an item is purchased/sold, the unit of measurement needs to be converted before entering and the conversion my have infinite decimal point length, creating rounding errors. If you type in the unit amount and the total and the unit cost is automatically calculated, the rounding error is reflected in the unit cost, instead of the total cost, which is much easier to deal with.

Right now, you can only get a total cost by typing in the units and the unit cost but if the unit cost is something like 123.456123456 and the decimal allowance is 5 characters, now I have a total cost issue and I cant pay my vendor the correct invoice amount. This should apply to all Unit*Unit Cost journals.
