On a sales order it it possible to perform a "Explode BOM", and select the lines that is wanted to on the sales Order. For service oriented companies they often want to add lines from a BOM that they qive quotes on. But this option is not available on sales quotations/project quotations. It would be nice to have this possibility here also.

This issue is really urgent, it is possible to explode the BOM on the sales order, there is no technical reason why it does not exist on the quotation.

I have noticed that these requests are from 2017 and 2020, with a reply from the administrator from 8/22. How are client needs being currently met here? Customization?

This requirement has been growing in urgency as more of our customers wnat to be able to tell a customer when all the components of the configured item will be ready which drives the parent delivery date on ATP from the quote.
