In CRM 2015 Phone number doesn't map automatically to phone entity as in CRM 2013, it will be great to have this feature again because apply workflow, JS or empty field affects business process

I agree. When carrying out workshops with our clients, they most common question around activities is "why wouldn't this number be the same as the Contact I'm calling?".
