Recurring sales order where we can create sales order templates, assign it to customer and set recurring period. Based on the recurring period, batch job will create new sales order.
Currently, subscription business is not limited for service only, but also subscription is available for products, where we send product to customer periodically.
On D365 SCM, we have subscription sales order, but the subscription sales order does not have period, start-end date. So it's hard to track when our next shipment will be, what the contract period is. We have recurring invoice, but it's only for free text invoice where we can't include inventory items.
