To whom it may concern,

Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is not an accounting software. The software structure and menus are completely off. Accounting, for example, does not have a Finance menu. Cash Management does that.

The most important report in Accounting is the General Ledger. The G/L comes from the software database. The Trial Balance comes from the G/L. The Balance Sheet and Income Statement and Owners Equity Reports come from the Trial Balance. This is the most basic accounting system structure. Microsoft Dynamics has missed this most important structure.

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 menus cannot be more complicated. Fining a report and printing the report in Excel format cannot be more confusing. No accounting staff can understand and or navigate through the software logically.

The suggestion here is to change Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central structure. Allow the software to flow logically from the first menu to other submenus and to the final step, printing a report. Microsoft Dynamics might not want to take this challenge. User would differ.
