Set Environmental variables to default folder locations when implementing

We implement many solutions for many customers.

It would be great to be able to set the download folder default to be something other than the Usres Downloads folder so that all the data migration documentations can be collated and collected into a unique folder per tenancy.

Browsers generally prevent web applications from choosing a folder on the client device, so there is nothing Business Central can do to solve this. Your alternatives at this stage are to implement saving to alternate file systems directrly from the server without going through the client device. For example, this could be SharePoint or some shared file repository.

Instead of rejecting this idea, we have chosen to leave it open in light of recent cutting-edge technology and browser standards which are emerging that will allow access to the client device file system. This technology is still not generally available so the number of votes for this idea have no influence until that technology becomes widely adopted.

Currently this is not in our roadmap; however, we are tracking it and if we get more feedback and votes, we may consider it in the future once the technology becomes generally available and widely adopted.
