Allow Email tracking/engagement when a system user (with an internal company domain) is entered in the TO, CC, or BCC field.


Today, unless the record type included in the email (TO, CC, or BCC field.) is an account, lead, or contact, emails are not tracked. It is a common practice for system users to copy other system users on an email.

Echoing the sentiment above- One of the key benefits of being able to track email engagement occurs when we send an embedded link to move forward with our loan team. Our colleagues need to be a part of that interaction. Currently, users are taking these emails outside of Dynamics, and do not get the benefits we should be utilizing.


Another solution could be to make all necessary NVR employees Dynamics users, so they are already in the system to be added to communication.

For our sales team to really use Dynamics as their main system, they need to be able to do the basic things (like CC another employee to keep them in the loop) without losing the value of using the system (i.e. seeing engagement and tracking info). Please help!
