Scenario:
We are a university that has a large number of organization units and we would like to develop an automated process to allow units to request onboarding for Power Platform. If they onboard, we want to automate the creation of Power Platform environments for them (dev, sandbox, prod) and grant them access.
Request:
We'd request a feature using cmdlets to automate the creation of pipeline environment records and the pipelines with their stages would be incredibly helpful because then we could support self-service, ensure a standard method of creation, save administration support team effort.

Hi,Yes please. There are cmdlets available for some elements of Power Platform administration like creating environments but not for the creation of pipeline records, pipelines, and pipeline stages. In companies with a large number of environments the ability to automate these pipeline aspects is important, whether for self-service, standardising configurations or reducing administrative effort. The ability to configure their pipelines would safe considerable time and effort. As or more significantly, without about to automate this, self-service onboarding is not possible at all.

Wrappers of pipelines management API's are being considered. Existing options include web API's for pipelines tables and evironment routing with the default pipeline rule in environment groups.
