After an investigation we were able to identify that enabling the Sales Price Experience in order to access the Price List pages in Business Central, we are able to use Edit in Excel functionality for Price Lists headers - creating a brand new Price List.

However, after the creation of the Price list itself, opening it to add lines, Edit in Excel cannot be used to add new Lines as the function is not present there.

After creating a Custom Page working on Base application tables, on the custom page the edit in Excel functionality is present, adding lines manually on the page works fine however using the Edit in Excel in order to add the lines gives an error when publishing related to Price Asset cannot be empty or 0.

Through an investigation we were able to find that even though this field is not present on the custom page or on the base application page for Price Lists, due to the dependencies between tables, this field is invoked and cannot be validated accordingly hence Edit in Excel cannot be used.

In addition it seems that OnValidate logic is very complex and it is really hard to make dynamic AL logic work as expected when you execute it though static API which is what Edit in Excel seems to be using.
