Duplicate Detection for Event Registration

I tried creating a duplicate detection setting for Event Registrations but it is not available on the list of entities available. Would be great to have it on the list because we're manually registering people on the wait list items.

As far as I can see, the Event Registrations entity still does not show in the list of Base record fields, on a duplicate detection rule...This has NOT been resolved.
